Understanding the Score

The Traffic Impact Score tells you how bad traffic will be near the venue area on a scale of 0–100. Higher = worse.

What the levels mean

70–100
Severe
Gridlock. Avoid the area completely — take alternative routes. Could add 30–45+ min.
40–69
High
Heavy traffic. Leave 20–40 min early, or wait until after the event clears.
15–39
Moderate
Noticeable delays. Add 10–15 min to your usual journey.
1–14
Low
Minor impact — slightly more traffic but nothing to worry about.
0
Clear
No events. Roads running as normal.

How it's calculated

Four factors combine to produce the final score:

Crowd Size40%
Larger crowds = more vehicles. ~60% of attendees drive.
Event Type25%
Football has sharp arrival/exit peaks. Concerts spread arrival.
Time of Day20%
Events during rush hour compound with commuter traffic.
Stacking15%
Multiple events at the same time multiply the chaos.
